Transforming Presentation House Theatre information into an engaging and interactive experience

Client Brand Project included in Small team meeting our client presentation house theatre(PHT), after uncovering clients needs via workshop, we constructed pitches 3 distinct concepts, refining the winner into full design system.

Learned client collaboration by translating PHT's needs into 3 pitches and a cohesive design system under deadlines. Gained hire-ready UX/branding skills: stakeholder alignment, iterative design, scalable visuals balancing fresh/timeless appeal across diverse programs.

Using discovery questions uncovered PHT's real pain points: inconsistent visuals across kids/adult/community programs (those post-2018 siloed colors), super low neighbourhood awareness, and struggling to reach adults 30-40 despite their joyful, intercultural vibe. They needed a timeless, approachable system for 50th anniversary outreach (under $10k budget) that feels like professional North Van community theatre not stiff or sophisticated.

Second step was brainstorming 3 distinct concepts to pitch the clients. Once they picked ”Unfold your story”as the best fit for their needs, we fully developed it into the cohesive design system with a interactive brochure.

Our goal was to transform neighbourhood information into an engaging and interactive experience that invites creativity, joy and discovery.

Unfold Your Story Brochure Development

Unfold Your Story Brochure Development an interactive mailer that residents cut out, fold into a classic fortune teller, and reveal tailored PHT facts per series. Kids version highlights interactive plays, school matinees, and puppet fun; Adults uncovers cutting-edge history, intimate shows, and post-show Q&As; Community shares 50-year legacy, local artist showcases, and volunteer opportunities. Ties directly to low-awareness problem—playful format makes PHT memorable as North Van's creative backyard while staying cohesive with Dynamic Hub's series colors and Poppins type

Printing the "Unfold Your Story" fortune teller brochures was tricky—dialing in exact dimensions for the double-sided cut-out meant multiple test runs to avoid misalignment. Tweaking PHT's existing rebrand for consistency started rough (siloed colours, varied fonts) but came together beautifully.
